BESTOWAL OF BLESSING
A Weekend with Murshid Shahabuddin
July 18, 19, 20
Inspired by Murshid Sam Lewis, "Bestowal of Blessing" is one of Murshid Shahabuddin's favourite topics. Bestowing blessing is in many ways Sufi Shamanism. The seminar will deal with ceremonies and means to infuse people and substances with blessing.
Some aspects covered will be:
* Mental attitude and heart attitude
* Blessing practices for the breath and voice
* Greeting postures
* Hands and eyes as instruments of blessing
* Preparing and cooking food
* Use of flowers and colours
* Magnetizing water and use of the elements for blessing
The seminar will take place at Rising Tide July 18, 19 and 20.
Friday and Saturday 10am to 5pm, Sunday 10am to 3pm.
Cost is $250 for 3 days or $195 for 2 days if registered by July 4.

Cultivate the language of the heart and a source of deep awareness through the sheer joy of movement. Using movement, exploration, music, poetry and rhythm, this workshop is an invitation into the landscape of discovery. In a safe atmosphere, we enter the body in the light of awareness. Spend a day in remembrance of the freedom that comes with whole hearted offering through the instrument of the body. Everyone is welcome. No prior experience in meditation, music or dance is required - only a desire to open the heart and stir the soul.

Zuleikha is an exceptional teacher of movement and rhythmic language inspiring
awareness of body and health. Trained with master teachers in different world lineages,
Zuleikha has developed her own movement technology based in traditional and
contemporary movement and music languages of east and west. Zuleikha works
internationally with thousands of young people, performs and teaches at conferences
and corporate settings. She performs her one woman concert and collaborations with
fantastic world musicians and poets, including the Rumi Concert with Coleman Barks,
Matthew Fox -Christian theologian, Roshi Joan Halifax - Director of Upaya Zen Center,
David Darling - cellist, Glen Velez - world percussionist, and many others.
Founder and director of The Storydancer Project, Zuleikha is the 2005 recipient of the
prestigious Humanitarian Award from Pediatric Nursing Journal, for her work helping
women and children suffering from the trauma of war, disease, poverty, and loss of family.

Life Transition Training for Spiritual Caregivers

For those interested in bringing a healing presence to people going through life transitions, this course combines the work of the Universal
Worship and that of the Healing Order, bringing a deep experience of the Masters, Saints and Prophets and also an awakened healing
presence into the transitional environment. The training is intended for those who are currently chaplains, cherags, healing conductors, and those who work in the field of healing.
This program allows participants with family and work commitments to take part in an extended course of study. Three face-to-facemeetings over one year take place in Sarasota, Florida.
Between meetings, home-school modules have been developed using CDs, texts & practices. Participants will receive bi-monthly mailings. Regular contact with Devi & Shahabuddin via conference calls will be scheduled. Mentor groups will provide additional support. Participants are encouraged to undertake a personal retreat during this year.
A Certificate is awarded upon completion of this program. For members of the Sufi Order, upon completion of the program you will be certified as a Cherag and a Healing Conductor, with a specialty as a Healing Cherag.
