The SW Florida community is known for ceremony and sacred events. This is an opportunity to make your own frame drum to be used in sacred ceremonies and events. The two-part workshop is led by Jewell Cochara. Her passion is sharing the wisdom of native American practices. She’s studied with various teachers around the country for the past 15 years, bringing those wisdom teachings into her work.
The frame drum sessions are held on January 18 and January 25th. Drums are 13″ Elk skin which participants create during the first session. The drums are blessed and initiated in the second one. This workshop costs $200 which includes the Elk skins, frames and drum sticks. Participants MUST register in advance so material can be ordered. To register, contact Jewell at 941-321-1695 (cell) or via email – firstname.lastname@example.org
