Rising Tide welcomes The Rockin’ Kirtan Band to pot-luck and Kirtan on the second Sunday of every month. 

The Rockin’ Kirtan Band offers a progressive blend of multicultural chants with familiar melodies designed to foster love and open hearts!  The band synthesizes the energy of light rock with the soul of sacred chanting!  Steve Biegel, the band leader on guitar and vocals, invites the community to be part of the band as it meditates, sways, chants and dances to the music.  Sabrina Harris anchors the Divine Feminine with rich harmonies and melodious solos as she plays harmonium. Jay Kent, one of the founders of the band, adds his Kundalini Yoga training and beautiful voice along with percussion. Jesse Biegel is a Berklee College of Music graduate, a vocalist and talented drummer. 

The next Kirtan at Rising Tide will be  October 13th, and open to the entire SW Florida community.  Continuing The ROCKIN’ KIRTAN BAND’S tradition, the evening begins with a Veggie Potluck Dinner from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Kirtan meditation and chanting begins at 6:30 and ends at 8:30 pm.  Please bring a favorite veggie dish for the potluck dinner. This event is $10 donation at the door.
