In remembrance of the coffee houses of yore, where poets and the “wordsmiths” gathered to share the wonders their words might evoke, we launch our 2023 version of “the coffee house.” We are calling on all Poets, Writers, and Wordsmiths to read and share their poetry/writings in an accepting ambiance, with a laid back, albeit enthusiastic audience! Each reader is allowed 5 to 7 minutes. The doors open 6:30pm. Sign-ups are first in, first read. Admission is $5 for all. Coffee & snacks are available to purchase.

LEMURIAN MOTHER TREE w Beverly Templeton at RTI & Simulcast on ZOOM
Beverly Templeton joins the roster of Meditation Leaders with an astonishing story of her experience in the California Redwoods. She had not planned to go but was compelled to journey there when her Tree-Ally Sophia told her she would meet “her spirit tree” on the trip. So in June 2023 Beverly traveled to California to visit the Redwoods. Deep in the forest, she had a life-changing experience which began with a meditation led by Park Ranger Wonder Heart who played a Heart Chakra Crystal Bowl.
The following day while her daughter hiked, Bev went further into the woods and squeezed into a narrow opening inside one of the Redwoods where she planned to meditate alone. What transpired in that meditation can only be described as a profound spiritual experience with the Lemurian Mother Tree where time slowed. The richness of her encounter should only be described by Bev herself at the meditation. (It goes beyond whatever you’re thinking it is.) So if you want to hear one of the most astounding stories in the annals of meditation experiences, join the Circle at Rising Tide on Friday, July 19th.

Donations: Rising Tide is the “home” of the Women’s Meditation Circle. We are committed to its care and respectful of the generosity of the center in allowing us to use it on Friday evenings.
